Philip’s experience includes volunteering

Philip Haddad was born and raised in Scottdale. He is a political science major who has volunteered for political campaigns at the local, county, state and national levels. Philip is a founding partner of The Table coffee shop, Scottdale, and the co-editor of Ron Paul Speaks, a book that highlights quotes from the Presidential candidate.

Local leadership includes Philip’s work with the Scottdale Revitalization Committee, Scottdale Historical Society, West Overton Museum, Geyer Performing Arts Center, Jacob’s Creek Watershed Associa-tion, and the Kiwanis.

Philip Haddad will work hard for Scottdale

Community Development

Philip supports strong leadership to nurture both new and existing community programs, including West Overton Museum, the Coal and Coke Bike Trail, the Scottdale Park system, and the Scottdale Train Station.

Growth

Philip will work for the community to assure a positive environment for Small Business Start-up and Development Issues, the Search for New Business and Industry, and a plan for Scottdale Long-term Planning.

New Media

Promote Scottdale’s visibility with an interactive web site—and take advantage of social media sites with time and event-sensitive updates.

Arts Support
